A. Long says
The anguish that we feel when a loved one dies may seem as if will never diminish, and though friends and family try their best to help, we know that they are suffering from pain due to the loss as well. This may lead us to wonder if there is any hope of gaining relief from our suffering, the Bible points us to the best source of comfort at 2 Corinthians 1:3,4. Here we can see that not only does Jehovah God provide us with comfort, but he also gives us strength to help comfort others. This is just one of the many loving provisions spoken of in the Bible. I truly hope that your family is able to gain some peace and comfort from this scripture; and that you will have an opportunity to visit JW.ORG, where you will be able to find many more comforting scriptural promises as well as satisfying answers to important questions that many people have about God and the Bible.
